L is for Leo

I'm a total girl so tomorrow my sister and I are going to see Titanic in 3D. I went to the theater to see that movie 3 times when it first came out. To say I love that movie would be a serious understatement.

The night my husband proposed to me he gave me Titanic on DVD (previously I just had it on VHS) and that definitely sweetened the deal when he popped the question a few minutes afterwards. I love that movie.

And of course it wouldn't have been TITANIC without the phenomenal cast of Kate and Leo.

Ahh yes Leo. The boy that so many of my peers wanted to pounce and drape themselves all over. He never did anything for me- in that sense. I think I've always liked my men a little older and even though I was only 14/15 when the movie came out he just looked like a little kid to me.

Romeo + Juliet- same thing. He just looks like a little boy and not a love interest.

Evidence:
Titanic

Romeo + Juliet

Can I just say real quick that in Romeo and Juliet there is nothing wrong with Paris. There's nothing to complain about really. And in the movie Romeo + Juliet you mean to tell me Juliet chose the child Leo over Paul Rudd's Paris? Not fucking likely.

RAWR.

So what I'm saying is, Leo didn't do anything for me back in the day. I'll admit I find him much more attractive now, as an adult, but I'm still not swooning.

That's a definite improvement.
Although, he'll always make my heart go on.

  1. I'm with you. Adult leo is WAY hotter than younger leo. He looked like a 12 year old in Romeo and Juliet. I will say that leo looked pretty scrumptious in Inception. All those men running around in suits. Yum.

And YEAH. SCREW LEO IN romeo and juliet. Paul Rudd, baby. He was adorable in that movie. SWOON SWOON SWOON.

    1. Inception. Yes. All of that movie YES. My heart pounded mainly for Cillian Murphy in there, but I wouldn't turn ANY of them away.

I don't know what it is about a suit that just makes men so yummy.

  2. I didn't like Leo until recently, he just didn't do anything for me. I know think he is actually a good actor...not that I know anything about this.

One confession I have never seen Titanic!

  4. I must admit I saw that movie 3-4 times in theaters with friends but was not too excited about it. Though Leo is total eye candy AND a good actor so I don't mind watching him over and over!
