These are not the same words. They do not mean the same thing.
If you want me to review an account and then speak with you about it, you want me to review and advise.
If you are having a hard time with a problem and you want my thoughts on the matter, you want my advice.
Learn it. Live it.
The ironic thing is, I wonder how many people will actually take your adviCe. Herpes is infectious, but grammar is not. What a world we live in.
